Okay.. so I made my ADRs FIRST then looked at the calendar!

So far I have:
9/21 ARRIVAL DAY, 1900 park fare for my girls (dinner)...
9/22 Typhoon Lagoon dinner at Chef Mickeys
9/23 Magic Kingdom dinner at Crystal Palace
9/24 Animal Kingdom am EMH and MGM pm EMH 5:50 at Cape May Cafe
9/25 Typhoon Lagoon, dinner at Epcot at Garden Grill
9/26 Magic Kingdom, dinner at Liberty tree tavern
9/27 Typhoon lagoon, NEED A TS FOR HERE!!
9/28 maybe hang out at DTD? 8pm Ohana
9/29 Magic Kingdom Tonys at 7 to try and get windows seat for Spectomagic and fireworks
9/30 no park scheduled... dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe
10/1 no park scheduled... NEED A TS FOR THIS?

My kids do like characters but I think I have enough of those. Is Beaches N Cream a sit down? I know my husband loves cheeseburgers and I hear they have a good one!

I'd recommend 50's Primetime Cafe at Disney Studios. Great food & decor here!

Another recommendation would be for Le Cellier or the Rose & Crown at EPCOT. Great food at both places.

Kona is a maybe.. hubby is VERY VERY picky so I have to make sure there is steak or burgers on EVERY menu so he can eat.

Boma.. would there be a steak or burger? Never been.. know its in AKl though!

AHHH okay, just looked on allears and found Boma's menu. My husband and some of my kids are very PLAIN PLAIN eaters. Some of this stuff looks awesome to me. It says chicken tenders/mac and cheese/spaghetti and MB... are these regulars? And wood fired meats... whats that? Just a grilled meat? I would hate to go and have no one but me want to eat!

Dh & I really enjoyed Kona-he got a steak & Le Cellier was good for lunch. We also have enjoyed Planet Hollywood, Wolfgang Puck Cafe, & O'hanas. We would like to try Rainforest, but they aren't on the DDP & the last few trips we have been, so seemed to pay for something when we didn't have too. We also really liked Liberty Tree for lunch but I see you're going there for dinner. If you need any CS, Flame Tree BBQ at AK is great & so is Earl of Sandwich in DTD.

We just returned from WDW and I wanted to let you know that Beaches and Cream is a sit-down restaurant, but they don't take ADRs.
I was told it would be an hour and a half wait! So needless to say, we said no thanks and headed to DTD.

You don't have any breakfasts. I would do Ohana for Lilo and stitch breakfast on non park day. We really love the Biergarten too. Other suggestion for dinner would be Kona or Concourse steak house

No breakfasts... I planned to eat in the room and head out early to the parks. Get done what we can by noon, grab a CS to go or a CS from the food court and relax at the resort until 4 or 5 and then head back for more fun and rides. I *might* pay OOP for a breakfast our last day there.. unless I use the 2 $15 Planet Hollywood(we have 2 rooms, one in my name, one for hubby.. though they are connected so do we get 2?) and save that TS for a breakfast... Ohanas would be my choice though!

Kona has steak, and they'll make almost anything without sauce if you want that. They have a burger on their lunch menu, though I am not sure if they will allow you to have that at dinner. We didn't ask, so I can't speak to that.

The night we were there, Boma had prime rib, roasted chicken, and some other meat--I can't remember what it was--in addition to chicken tender, mac 'n' cheese, pasta (meatballs and red sauce on the side) and lots of other stuff. I can't imagine someone going to Boma and not finding anything to eat because they really do have a huge combination of exotic and traditional choices.

megnsamsgracie, We will be there for the same dates as you (Me, DH, and DD, DCousin and DCousin's Son). We are staying @ POP though. We have 2 connecting rooms and both got the $15 voucher for PH on our reservation.

For ADR suggestions I would try Sci-Fi. Your kids would love it. As well as your DH. It's the best hamburger I've had in WDW. Or maybe Coral Reef kids would like the atmosphere and DH could get a nice steak.

As ofr Boma. I'd stay away if your family is rather picky. I love going there just for the atmosphere and I have to becasue it's DH favorite place. But I am a picky eater. I find myself eating off the kids buffet all night.

Thanks! I am going to look into Sci Fi (especially because I have the cape may buffet the night I planned to do EMH at MGM... and I am going to choose either Boma or Kona!

milmore... we had 2 rooms at POP booked... then cancelled to move over to CSR THEN cancelled that to move to Poly and now we are back to ASMo... I didnt even check if POP was booked back up or not because I heard they have more rooms than the All stars and I was a bit worried about crowdedness. There are still lots of rooms at CSR for free dining so come my pay off date of 8/7, I might switch yet again!

I love the atmosphere at Sci-Fi and the burgers are really good. And if you go for dinner you can still order a burger even though it isn't on the menu:cool1:

Thanks! When we have been to Disney before, we did all quick service, whatever was available. The only TS we did and that was a treat, was Crystal Palace! Everything was always on a budget!

So since its EMH for MGM that night, Sci was booked, Mama melrose was booked, 50s was booked. So I just kept Cape May buffet. I added Planet Hollywood for the 21st and took off 1900 park fare.. there is no guarantee what the food will be. So we are doing Planet Hollywood using the 3 $15 certificates and then the other TS will be the princess breakfast on the 25th. I added Boma for the 27th. I think i am all set now :0
