Looking for some basics on inline skating. I would like to get some thoughts on a good beginner skate primarily for fitness, knowing that I wear a Women's size 11.

I have been walking up to now and am starting to get bored but want to continue towards my weight loss goals, I thought this might be something to keep me interested. Your thoughts, opinions afvice greatly aprpeciated.

Kim

I am sorry that I do not hav a brand to offer. I do have to make sure that whatever you get that the safety equipment is also part of your purchase and always-wear, i.e. knee pads, wrist/hand stuff...good luck with it. I still find a challenge when I get brave enough to roll along out there.

Thank you Lily, I actually entured tot he sporting goods tore after work today and found a pair or Rollerblade brand marked down from $179.00 to $79.00.

I also invested in wrist, knee, elbow pads and a helmet. I quickly appreciated the wrist guards as I attempted to make my first stops.

I dusted my self off and was at it again.

I am on my way!

Many thanks! Kim

The kids thought it was funny when I took my first "spin" and grabbed a broom to help me "stay upright" as I took a roll. They are different than the other 4-wheeled skates for sure.
