Need help with figuring out TS credits please

We are going to WDW this Sept. and have free dining due to a bounce back offer. It will be me, dh, ds (10) and dd (9). My son is not into the character dining anymore. In planning our days, it looks like we will have 4 extra TS credits--one for each of us. My daughter wants to eat in the castle so I was thining of booking breakfast or lunch there for just me and dd. I know that it is a 2 credit meal and I figured that I could use our 4 "extra credits" for it. The problem is it will be 3 adult credits and 1 child credit. Can I pay for her meal (which will be from the children's menu) with 1 child credit and 1 adult credit? I would think so since the adult credit is worth more? If anyone has done this or could give me any advice, that would be great!

You will not be able to pay for her meal at a 2 credit restaurant using one adult and one child credit. Adult credits and child credits for TS are separate in the account and cannot be combined for a single meal.
