Review Need help with close, off site hotel for 1 night

We will be arriving at WDW at midnight and really don't want to spend 200 bucks on on extra night at AKL for just about 7 hours of sleeping. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive hotel nearby that is clean and safe!?

You could always stay in one of the value resorts. It would cost you less than $100. $89 at the All-Star in October.

We had the same issue this last May when we elected to stay an extra night in Florida due to cheaper flights on a Sunday rather than Saturday. We actually decided to get a room near the airport since we had an early flight. We stayed at La Quinta Inn and while I can't recommend the hotel I do recommend the plan of staying near the airport before your flight. It helped us to be closer and saved a lot of time the morning of our flight. Have a great trip!

Just had the exact same problem. Stayed at the Sheraton Safari, just beyond the DTD resorts. Great location, nice rooms. I used points, so I don't have a price for you, but in the past it has been about the same as the All-Stars or Pop Century price.

I would stay near the airport and rent your car or take ME to AKL the morning. Use Priceline or Hotwire to get a good price. If you don't want to drive/shuttle to a hotel, the Hyatt in right in the airport.

After crunching the numbers again...we have decided to add a night on at AKL. We have free dining and we had scheduled 7 TS dinners but just had 6 credits. It all worked out well. The money will wash, we'll have the extra credit and we don't have to change hotels!
