Hi! I am wondering if you could please help me out in making some choices. I am traveling in a group with 4 adults and 2 children. We are staying 8 days and we are on the DDP. We would like to have a TS meal every night even if we have to pay OOP for it. Also, I would like at least 1 dinner buffet so the kids have more of a selection than what is on the kids menus. Also, I really do not like meat or fish very much at all. I will eat it but don't enjoy it, with the exception of a really good steak once in a while and lobster, shrimp (if it is not battered and fried), and crab. I also really like sushi, but two of the other adults won't eat it. Below I have some places in mind that we could try but when I look at it I just think there is way too much meat and would really appreciate some alternate choices:

Coral Reef
Le Cellier (boyfriends b-day)
Whispering Canyon
Mama Melrose (fantasmic package)
Hoop De Doo (they want to see a dinner show)

Thanks for your help!

I would recommend you try Boma at the AKL. It's a buffet, so the kids can have whatever they want. It has an African flair, but is not too *out there*. My DD (6 at the time) loved it. It also has a very big selection of vegetarian dishes. It's my fave so far of the restaurants I've been to (not too many yet).

How about a character meal at Crystal Palace? It's also a buffet, and most folks on here give it great reviews for the food. We are trying that this time.

Have fun, and good luck!

Thanks for the reply! I never really cared for CP, but it's been years since the last time I ate there. Maybe I should give it another chance. I also love that it's a character meal. That would be really fun for the kids. I forgot about Boma. I have been there before and really enjoyed it. :)

Here is a couple suggestions :

Teppan Edo at Japan
San Angel Inn at Mexico
Kona Cafe at Polynesian
Narcoosees at Grand Floridian
1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian
The Plaza Restaraunt at Magic Kingdom (has nice sandwiches)
Prime time 50's cafe at Hollywood studios (very kid friendly)
Chef Mickey at the Contemporary

Wow! Thanks for all those suggestions. I am going to look over the menus. I was looking at all of the restaurants that I had listed the other day and my first thought was too much meat. Outside of Mama Melrose all of the places I picked were either meat or fish. I like variety. Thanks for all of your help!
