I am a DCL (Disney Cruise Line) virgin, and a Cruise virgin altogether. I booked my daughter and I on a 4 day cruise in February 2017 leaving out of Port Canaveral. I have been reading a lot trying to catch up in the do's and don'ts.

However, I seem to run across an abbreviation that I can't seem to figure out...What does PAT stand for? Any help is appreciated.

It is Port Arrival Time. It is the time you choose when you do your online check in. You are given options & choose the time that suits you (earliest is 10.30am, which may or may not be available for a first timer).
It is the time you Arrive at the port - Not to board the ship.

The best do is to have the vacation you want. That may include running around and trying to see and do it all. For others it is only doing a few things and just let the day take them where it may.

In your KTW (Key to the World) card.... it will have a series of letters.... these are your dining rotation.

There's also ship terms like port, starboard, aft, and galley. Be careful when you ask for the "head" of the ship. It's not the mouse, nor the captain.
