Need Help!! Who to book for hair and make-up?

I am new to this board. Have been using different wdw board till I discovered this board. Much happier that people actually talk about Disney weddings here. I have a big problem. I do not know who to book for my hair and make-up. I am going to make a deposit this weekend but do not know who to choose. I am looking into Lisas Magical Weddings and Beaute Speciale. I am looking to see if any other Disney brides have used them and who would you recommend. I need help because my wedding is March 12, 2009. Thanks!!

I am curious if they are the ones that did your hair? The way you wore your hair is exactly how I would like mine done. Whoever did your hair and make-up did a fabulous job because you looked beautiful. Thanks for the info.

Beaute Speciale is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they did a great job at my daughter's wedding and everyone looked beautiful. They were very prompt in answering emails and phone calls. They showed up on time and we had a great afternoon with them. They were about 5 or 6 of us getting hair and make up done. We highly recommend them.

Another vote for Beaute Speciale, Ana is amazing.

They did my hair and make-up and all my bridesmaids, even my little one!

Without a doubt Beaute Speciale.

Lili did my trial run, it could nt of been more perfect & i could nt of been happier. I took her 2 pics of hair & make up to copy & she literally got them both spot on

Im a make up artist by profession so am extremely picky about who does my makeup & how well they can apply & copy styles. I always go dramatic especially with eyes & have had lots of people try makeup styles on me, i dont think i ve ever been happy when anyones tried doing my makeup for me . I was in all honesty very nervous about my makeup as im very particular about how i like it done (i very rarely now let any1 but me apply cosmetics to my face, thats how picky i am).

Well Lili made my worries completly vanish, my makeup looked sensational. I could nt of asked for any better.Even my df was impressed & he knows how particular i am about the way my makeups done. Shes an absolute star. If you ve not done so book Beaute Speciale, if you get Lili you wont be sorry

I did one with my artist, Patricia LeJeune, but that's because I am really picky about my hair and makeup. She was great about working with me to get the look I wanted, and it was that much easier on the wedding day.

However, if you're not too worried about it, any of the makeup artists can do a look to your specifications on your wedding day without a trial first - just bring pictures of what you want! I brought a pic of a different hairstyle for the wedding day than the one I used for the trial, and Patricia did it no problem.

No but if it makes you feel better then do it. I always tell my brides to do one, this is for brides getting married at home though. It is easier for them..It is harder with a destination wedding but can be done. Most girls do it during their planning session.

I also agree with Lynn. I used Ana from Beaute Speciale for my trial run, even though I was an Intimate Bride. I haven't read the rest of the thread, but I worked in a salon for 3 years, and was very picky. My bridesmaid, who owns a salon, did my hair, but Ana did my makeup (and I am VERY picky!--did I already say that??? ) and she was absolutely amazing!! She also did 2 other bridesmaids and family members, AND we did a trial run with her. She's absolutely fantastic, and will do everything to ensure your wedding is absolutely perfect--seriously.

I had two friends tell me that they were copying my eye makeup for their weddings, because they loved mine so much.

Hi, Jen! I did regular make-up with Ana, but had the light air brush spray so it would last (as I got married at 2 p.m., but had my reception at 6). I also pre-ordered my lip gloss from Ana after the trial run so I would have extra, because I loved it so much. Ana truly knows what she's doing, and I wouldn't use any one else, even if I did it over again. Which I wouldn't :-D
