Need help understanding points and UY please

Ok....I thought I had this right but I'm questioning myself now....

If I have IE: 200 points that become avail Dec 2010....I can bank those points for a trip to use from Dec 2011 thru Nov 30th 2012, right???

The part in bold sometimes confuses some new members. You will have points already in your account for the current use year and the 3 following use years. So with a December use year, right now your account contains December 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012. So there's no waiting "to become available". They can be used based on the date of stay, not when you call for the reservation.
