Need help selecting music/song for banquet slide show...

for our local swim club. Need "cool" song/music suggestions that would be appropriate for a group of parents and kids (ages 5-teens) to play during a video and picture slideshow. I am pretty sure Katy Perry's "Roar" was used a couple years ago, so I guess anything besides that! Thanks!!

*edited to add* Also looking for a song that the kids can do a "carpool karaoke" type montage too as well!!

Check YouTube for US Figure Skating's Stars on Ice show videos -- always a lot of current, clean, upbeat music.

Last year, my daughter skated in a Stars on Ice group number to "Something Big" by Shaun Mendez. She liked it so well she used it for her walk-on music for her Grad dinner.

Competitive figure skating and competitive swimming have a lot in common. Not many sports are as demanding in both time and work as these two. I would select something that captures the hours and hours of very difficult physical work and the joy of success.

Something like "I Lived" by One Republic or a mix of two songs -- one about the hard work, the other about winning. The official music video of that song is one of the most inspirational things I've ever seen. It features a cystic fibrosis patient named Brian Whittaker and his life-long struggle with his disease.

Thank you all so much! I am leaning towards Can't Stop the Feeling for the "carpool karaoke" portion. You all have given lots of good songs to sift through for the slideshow portion. If anyone else has more suggestions, please keep them coming!
