I was going over our trip budget during my lunch hour and came to the conclusion that the Dream Maker pkg. with the Silver add on may be a better deal for us. Currently we have room only reservations at BC for nine nights with AA discount at a cost of $2465. I had planned on purchasing UPH passes at the end of this month for the five of us which would roughly come out to $2,000, making the total around $4,500.
I called WDTC and was quoted $7,758.14. The CM told me that they are not able to apply a AAA discount to packages and that I would have to contact them directly for that. So I call AAA, gave them the exact same dates, same everything and was quoted $4,640.44! I asked the agent at least 3 or 4 times whether the price was for the same resort (Beach Club) for the same number of nights and same number of people. She said yes and gave me a detailed description of what it included.
Could this be correct? Have any of you had experiences with booking packages with AAA? She's faxing me the quote tomorrow morning. The difference is around $3,000. Is this too good to be true? Help!
