Need Help Please!

Of the Moderate resorts, which would you recommend and why? I've booked the Caribbean Beach Resort, but I want to make sure that it's the best one of all the moderates.

I appreciate any all opinions!

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the moderates. CBR is our favorite but you will get lots of responses.

I've stayed at all of the moderates. You really can't go wrong with any of them. My personal favorite is CSR. We loved the food court! CBR is my 2nd favorite. We don't have any children, so we really enjoyed CSR's atmosphere and didn't mind the larger layout (since it is a convention center). I don't think the CBR is a bad choice at all...I'm sure you'll love it!

CBR is our family favorite of ALL the resorts. We love feeling like we are on a tropical vacation. A lot of people will talk about it being spread out, which it is, but I loved it! We always saw bunnies and turtles and ducks on our way to the food court. They had great food and I loved the pools! Very clean and super cozy beds!

DH and I loved CBR. Granted - it's the only moderate we've ever stayed at - but we really, really enjoyed our stay there. We felt so secluded and private. I think the exterior corridors made it quieter than any deluxe I have stayed in. We also loved the theming and the landscaping. The quiet pools were wonderful. There were many times that DH and I were the only people in the quiet pool and we were there in the middle of the summer. We thought the food court was average - but we think most food courts are average. We were pleasantly surprised by Shutters, the sit-down restaurant. I thought the main pool was adorable although it was a little small. We were in Trinidad North so we were very close to the food court and main pool. There was a bus stop literally steps from our door. I was spoiled transportation-wise because I had stayed at the Poly on almost all trips before but we found the bus service to be wonderful. I think the longest we waited for a bus was maybe 15 minutes.

All in all we thought it was a fabulous resort and would return in a heartbeat. Have a wonderful trip!

My family and I personally enjoy POR better than any other resort. We haven't stayed there in a while but we go several times every trip to the food court (we love it!). Our second favorite is CSR. We have stayed at CBR and the only problem with it is that you can end up very far away from the main building and if you have children this can be a pain. Oh and the check-in is placed away from the actual resort. But it is beautiful and does have a good food court. Hey it's WDW what could possibly ruin the Happiest Place On Earth!! Have Fun!

Thank you all so much for your input. We ended up changing our reservation and are going to stay at the Pop Century (in a preferred room) in order to spend more on Disney "toys" to bring home.

I have to admit, that although I'm new to the Disney boards (we've been to Disney 3 times before), I've been on a particular cruise board for a long time as we've been cruising the last 4 years, and the people here really seem to appreciate vacationing more than those on the cruise boards.

What I'm saying is that here, you all can give constructive opionions (or criticism) but the bottom line is that you are so excited just to be at Disney and to be having the best time you can regardless of what might be a little kink in things.

So, thank you all for being honest and human and appreciative - it's truly nice to be around people like this for a change!

We have stayed at POFQ and CSR and we loved both of them for different reasons. I think the moderates are great. I really think we will try CBR the next time we go moderate.

My favorite is CSR with CBR a close second. I prefer both of them to PO. I dont think you will be disappointed-CBR is a great resort!
