Need help on what time to make ADR's.

WE would like to see wishes from Cali Grill but don't know what time to make our ADR,s. Also my DW's family will also be there but staying off property, my question is we would like to eat at the Brown Derby on Fantasmic night but don't know how much time we should allow to eat and then walk over for good seats? Also can I make an ADR for a party of 9 even if there is only 2 of us on the reservation? Thanks for the Help.

Do you want to see MK fireworks from Cali Grill? If so, you need to make it later, unless you want to hang out by the bar, especially if it's only the 2 of you. Every time my fiance and I have eaten at Cali Grill we have been done in like an hour - hour and 1/2 tops, so take that into consideration depending if you want to see the fireworks.

You can make the reservation for as many people as you need - they don't need to all be staying on disney property (re: hollywood brown derby). It's good to get over to Fantasmic at least an hour before if you want to get a good seat, so allow an hour and a half or so for eating. If Fantasmic was at 9, we would probably make a reservation at brown derby for around 6 or so. This way you won't feel rushed.

I would try to get your CG ADR for 90 minutes before fireworks showtime.

As for Brown Derby, I would aim for 2.5 hrs before Fantasmic starts. You want to allow around an hour, or more depending on the time of year to get seats for Fantasmic.

You can make an ADR for more people than are on your resort reservation.
