Need help making Lilo and Stitch invitations!

We had to re-schedule DD's birthday party due to rainy weather. I want to make new invitations to send out again, as there is a new date and location. I don't want to go and spend a lot of money on the packaged invitations (already did that the first time), so I thought I could make my own on the computer. I have never done this before, but thought it would be fun.

I just want to use regular paper to print the invitations or could buy some colored paper, but I wanted to come up with something colorful and fun showing Lilo and Stitch.

Any suggestions or ideas on where I can start? Thanks in advance!

BTW, I wanted to add that I'm somewhat technically challenged , but I really want to do this!

Don't use colored paper, since your printer really doesn't have white ink, but just doesn't print where you have white. Everyting on your invites that should be white will be the color of the paper.

You prob got a card making program of some type when you bought your computer. If not, download this:

If you have specific questions, let me know. I can't give you the graphics, because of copyright infringement..but maybe you can use their colors as a border, flowers, etc to "look" like the stitch figures.

Why not use some beach background paper, print the invitiation words on there from your computer, and then use Lilo and Stitch stickers to jazz it up?

Maybe you could find something to use as a grass skirt border and attach that to the invites when you are done.
