Need Help How to get rid of smokey smell?

MY BF's son left a pizza in the oven then left for Celtics game.

2 hrs later his other son came home to smoke alarm going off, towel on fire on the stove & a house full of smoke.

Eddie has been airing out and scrubbing to get the smell out. He has washed curtains etc..... I even suggested burning a Yankee Candle but I know that only masks smell.

So how can he get the smell out of the furniture, a brand new couch btw. The carpet stinks.

Any products or cleaning methods suggested would be appreciated.

Pour vinegar into some bowls and leave it out. It worked wonders for us when we had smoke smell from a fire in the unit below ours.

try some frabreeze. it gets the smokey smell out of my car pretty good.
