We'll be a group of 12 in October, and we want to eat together.

Where do you suggest?

Particulars -

1. We are looking for restaurant ideas away from the Disney parks.
2. We want to eat at a buffet (if possible/not a necessity)
3. Kid friendly, we'll have 4 kids between 5 - 9 years old in our group
4. Themed shows (like Arabian Nights) would be great if possible, but not a necessity
5. We figure these suggestions would be reasonably priced since they are off site

Thanks in advance for your input.

If you like Chinese food, try the Dragon Court. They have a huge buffet of good food and it's only around $9 per person. Our group of 12 had a dinner there in Jan '03, and everyone loved the place. The restaurant is very close to WDW. It's in a strip mall at 12384 SR 535, just north of the Crossroads shopping center. If you get a WDW transportation/road map, it's practically adjacent to the Centra Care medical facility shown on the map.

Cafe TU TU Tango. Check out their site. cafetututango.com

I would recommend Jungle Jim's. They can seat 12 people together, they have great kid's food, and they have a wide assortment of adult food (and beverages ;). Plus, it's just over at the Crossroads and is very close.

If cost is a consideration, some lower priced places to try are Ponderosa, Sizzler & Golden Corral. They all have huge buffets with something that should appeal to everyone plus steaks & chicken etc.

Try Sweet Tomato's

Great buffet! Lots of salads, pasta, soups, breads, muffins, softserve icecream/frozen yogurt.

We try this place a couple times each visit.

Located near Fun Spot on International Drive

Hi There,

You don't mention if you have a car or not. If you have and are prepared to travel then Medieval Times in Kissimmee or Sleuths Mystery Show on I-Drive are both excellent locations to take a large party.

Minniespal,

We will have a car.

Can you tell me more about those 2 restaurants? I am very interested in the Medieval Times.

Pricing, the show, is it good for kids too?
