Need help-fp+ for one day epcot visit

My DH and myself are visiting Epcot in May for only 1 day. We will be buying tickets that morning. How do we use those tickets for fp+? I know there are kiosks in the park to schedule ur fp. Can we use those fp kiosk with a ticket purchased that day?

How do I go about the process for the FP+ for one day at Epcot? Do I have to link my 1 day ticket to MDE?

You could do it at the kiosk, but I would highly recommend setting up a profile in My Disney Experience beforehand and put the app on your mobile device. If there is ANY way to get your ticket before, even the night before, I'd do that. If not, you could still go in and if the kiosk line is short, schedule your FPs at the kiosk. If the kiosk line is long, you should be able to link your ticket through the app on your mobile device and do it digitally without having to stand in the kiosk line. It comes down to whichever is more comfortable or convenient for you.
