I'm attempting to maintain my sanity while traveling from LAX to Disney's Grand Californian. I'm hoping I can get some input regarding the different options available. We're avid WDW'ers, but this is our first trip to DLR. We decided to make this a FAMILY trip, but had some questions regarding securing transportation to the hotel from the airport. All you Disneyland vets, the advice is appreciated!
We'll be traveling
with 8 adults and one infant (not bringing a car seat). I suppose we would need some sort of van/mini bus, sine we will be carrying quite a bit of luggage (1-2 pieces each and carry-ons. We've looked into 14-passenger vans, which seem like they will be large enough for us all. Also, we noticed some of the limo services offer car seats for a small fee, which we would need.
We also are looking for transportation from the Grand Californian to the pier in San Pedro. All of the above obviously holds true for this second leg of the trip (passengers/car seat, etc.)
We've looked into Disneyland bus shuttle/Super Shuttle, but they do not offer car seats, and we feel obviously more comfortable having the little one secured in a car seat for the 45 minute / 30 minute drives.
Thanks everyone for helping to make this trip a memorable one for our family!
