need help find a place we ate out befor

In MArch 02 me Dh and DS went to MGM for a charcter breadfest, they were dressed up in 50's outfits and my son got to dance with Minney as I danced with Mickey. When Asked what one place my Dh and son want to go to they said this place but I can not find it anywhere .

Anyone know what I am talking about and if it is still around ?

There currently are NO character meals in MGM. The rest. you are talking about I believe would be the 50's Prime Time. The whole decor for the place is set back in the fifties. Where the servers act like they are your long lost cousins and ma & pa are in the kitchen cooking for you. They interact w/ you very nicely and funny! But I have never seen or heard of a character being there. You must have gotten lucky and happend to be there when they made an apperance. Someone else please correct me if I'm wrong?

Wasn't there a character breakfast at Hollywood & Vine? It sounds like one we attended years ago.

That was the character meal at Hollywood & Vine. Minnie was dresses in a sparkly evening gown & did indeed dance with the patrons. Goofy was in a "zoot suit" & hat. My oldest dd had her birthday breakfast there awhile ago & it was buffet. They stopped doing it in 2000 I believe..now they only have a non character buffet at H&V.
