I think we have it narrowed down to the Anaheim Camelot Inns & Suites, Best Western Park Place Inn, and Ramada Inn Maingate (but they may be full). Any pros or cons anyone would be willing to share? They seem affordable and within walking distance. And I think they all offer free breakfast.

We just went for the first time in Ocotober. We stayed at the Fairfield Inn and could actually see into the park from the third floor, which was kind of crazy! If you go to the top floor you could see Haunted Mansion and Splash (tops of the attractions). Anyways it was nice for a hotel/motel. There was a Mcdonalds right next door and a smaller restaurant similar to a cheap Applebee's.

Best Western Park Place Inn is right at the traffic light where all the hotel/motel people have to walk to to get into Disneyland. Perfect location but don't know about the accomodations.

Good luck and have fun!

Go to tripadvisor for more info on all hotel information and read comments...that's what we did.

We stayed at the BWPPI in November. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and clean. Breakfast is served next door at Captain Kid's. Bagels, pastries, cereals, boiled eggs, toast, juice and milk were on the menu. Again...nothing fancy, but a good start in the morning.

We loved being right across the street from the parks. Would stay there again without hesitation.

Anaheim Camelot Inns & Suite is a grate place. you can see fire works floor 4room 404 and on.
It was grate just dont go to mc'd''s excpecting doller menu they so screwed us.

between the 3, BWPPI is literally across the street from the pedestrian gate. literally. i'm not even sure where the ramada inn maingate is, but it's not in the same area.

Thank you everyone! I am trying to de-stress. I usually love to plan trips, but this one is giving me headaches. I can't figure out best way to get from DL to San Diego for the day, or just stay there couple nights, traffic on a weekday... Anyway, it helps to know these motels sound decent to stay at!

I'm in the same boat. Anyone ever stayed at Portofino kids suite? How far is the walk? Also how far is the walk from Fairfield Inn vs. Candy Cane Inn?
