need help deciding on dec. dates

Hi everyone,
I am new to this site. You guys have a lot of good information. WE are planning a trip to Disney between Thanksgiving and C-mas. Any suggestions on which week is the least crowded? Does the Pop-Warner games influence crowd levels in the parks? Any suggestions would be helpful. We've got to start plannin'.

Welcome to the boards! Just a little warning, we are habit forming!

You probably want to avoid right before Christmas. Starting the week before Christmas the crowds start building up. Pop Warner is not supposed to have a big influence on the parks, but you won't want to be at a resort with them. They are primarily in the value resorts, but the overflow does go into the moderates.

I was a WDW a few years ago during the Pop Warner, luckily not at a resort they were staying at. Did run into quite a few of them at MK though and they aren't really a crowd I'd like to spend much time with. It was impossible to take a picture of anything that a bunch of cheerleaders didn't jump behind you and build a pyramid of bodies.
