We are trying to decide on a time for our next disney trip. Initially thinking this June (2017) but might need to save up a bit more to hit all the parks and Universal and IOA. So, that leaves the Christmas break. Anytime between Dec. 21-Jan 1st. I wonder about the crowds and also not being able to hit the pool each day. I know it's Florida, but is it hot enough each day.

We are also considering spring break. March 29th-April 6th. My husband is a teacher, so he'd like to avoid taking days off from work. Would spring break be just as crowded? I know we would be able to go to the pool each day.

NOT Christmas Week.

I would do spring break. We've done both. Spring break, though crowded, is not as crowded nor as expensive as going over Christmas week. We will go in December again this year but will get out of Orlando by Dec. 22. It just gets too crazy after that.

Both the weeks you've mentioned are holiday weeks (Christmas and Easter, which is March 31st next year). So, regardless, you should expect crowds. Flights (if you're flying) will also be more because airlines know people want to travel then. Given that, I'd pick the week that appeals more to you. If you're looking for assurance of warmer weather, March has a much likelier shot (though not guaranteed) than December. Whichever you choose, have a great time!
