I have read several reviews about the coral reef and now I am going to cancel that reservation. But I need to come up with something to replace it. Any ideas for lunch around DHS. We are already eating at scifi dine in theater, 50's Prime time cafe and hollywood & vine. I have looked at the menu for Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano and I dont think it is something we would like. I was really hoping there was a place that sold brick oven baked pizza. Any suggestions please!!
We will be at the mouses house in 79 days!!

I would stick with coral reef! The setting is lovley and the foods good! :fish:

I think alot the epcot restraunts are better than the ones at DHS, so if you do realy want to change it, maybe try tuto italiano, teppan edo or chefs de france, i'd say le cellier but im sure it will be fully booked by now.

As for mama melrose, we like it but dont love it, the flatbreads were good. :)

Have you been to Coral Reef yet? Personally I want to try a restaurant first and decide what I think; not base it on others reviews. If a restaurant was that bad, it probably wouldn't stay open long. What if you try Coral Reef and you end up loving it? I always wonder what I will miss if I base my decisions on others views. Everyone raves about Le Cellier - we weren't impressed but I'm glad we tried it. Nobody seemed to like Pizza Planet, we thought it was great for a CS. Good luck in deciding but I think you might like Coral Reef.

Another vote for keeping Coral Reef. Our lunch there last year was excellent and you can't beat the atmosphere! If you really want to change, I second Tutto Italia but I see that Mama Melrose's didn't interest you so maybe italian is out??

Thanks for the help, I guess I will stay with it and see if we like it or not. Another descison kona cafe or whispering canyon cafe? I am leaning toward whispering canyon cafe this will be our last meal before we hit the road home. How long does it usually take to get from dhs to ep?

There is a boat from DHS to EPCOT ... I am guessing it is maybe 30-40 minutes? I usually drift off for a little nap so I am not 100% sure.

I would definitely choose Kona over WCC. We try to eat there every trip! WCC wasn't our favorite, but again, if it is someplace you want to try definitely try it! Everyone has their own opinions/likes/dislikes!

I also agree that keeping coral reef is the way to go.

As far as getting from DHS to Epcot, I always walk. There is a great path along the same river the boat takes that goes past the boardwalk. It is not far (about 1.25 miles according to Google Earth) and the scenery is great. Plus the boat stops so often it takes a lot less time.

Kona and WCC are both great so I would base it on the scenery more than the food. If you want the Polynesian surroundings go Kona, for the lodge feel, go WCC.
