:confused3 Hi all, I'm the one moving to Windsor but I really need help for my budget!
Could anyone let me know what the average hydro bill or gas would be in
winter and summer months for a family 4. I would think that prices are fairly
consistent across Ontario (?). This sure is stressful trying to get everything coordinated for a move. Any recommendations for container moving; you know they park a giant box in your driveway and you load it annd they drive it to destination?
Thanks again

I just got my 3 month hydro bill and it was $337. We have a 2700 square ft house. Our gas bill for Jan/Feb was $600, but that was because we didn't do a read and they had estimated the previous month. On equal billing I'm sure it would be $150 to $200.

Our hydro bill is usually around $375/every other month. And our union gas bill is $70/month, with our union gas we are on the budget plan where we pay the same each month regardless, it usually means at the end of the year we have almost a free month. Hope this helps ~ Kat :sunny:

We have a 1700 sq ft house and our Hydro bill is $129 per month with equal billing.

Our House is 2400 square feet, we pay $117 a month with Hydro and $125 with Union gas
Hope this helps

It really depends on the house - our first house was a new, attached house, and only had 2 outer walls. I think our highest gas bill in that house was $50...

In our current house (an 80+ year old, cinder block house with no insulation in the walls ), our highest winter gas bill is in the $350 range... So quite a variance depending on the house.

You're right on the money there! Our house is 94 yrs old, that could be why ours is so high!
