Need help anyone flying out of PHL to MCO in March 2014

We originally planned on going to Disney late April 2015, so I have been watching flight prices for this April to see how they would run. After talking with my DD we realized her finals are beginning of May, so she doesn't want to be out of school right before finals. So now we are considering Mid March 2015. it is now too late for me to watch prices for March this yr, since we are now in March. So I am asking is there anyone flying from PHL to MCO this month? What kind if prices did you get? And how far in advance did you buy them? Trying to get an idea what to except next yr.

Our daughter and her husband live in Philly and just booked flights on les than one week notice to fly PHL to MCO on SWA to join us for our vacation starting this Saturday. Prices were over $350 R/T each when she first looked, but on Tuesday they dropped to $252 R/T each. A quick look just now shows a best price of $305 R/T each for Flight #393 out at 09:50 PM on Friday, March 14, 2014 and return on Flight #599 out at 07:00 AM on Friday, March 21, 2014.

The Tuesday price was due to a sale, so I'd suggest you try again on Tuesday if you want to do better than $300 per person.

Given the size of US Air in this market, you may want to try Priceline or similar for non-stop flights and bid $225 pp R/T and see if anyone bites.
