We narrowed our choices down to:

MGM - Pizza Planet and 50's Cafe

AK - Flame Tree and Tusker House

MK - Cosmic Rays, Columbia Harbour and Pecos Bills

Epcot- Cantina de San Angelm, Tangerine Cafe and Yakatori

What are your opinions of these places? Generally should we be ordereding one meal per person or planning on splitting a meal and extra appitizer? None of us are big eaters. I figured my MIL and I can split and DS and DD can split and DH will get his own meal. Does this sound like a good plan or do I plan one 1 meal per person? Will they let us split like this?

Do any of these places have meal deals? How do you get these vouchers I hear about from Connections? Where and what are they good for? How soon before going can I/do I get them and from where? Do I get 1 per person or per entree?

HELP PLEASE - TOTALLY CONFUSED!!!!

I don't know anything about connections but I can help you on the restaurants-

MGM - Pizza Planet and 50's Cafe

Pizza plant is a counter service restaurant. They also have a value meal deal that includes a side salad. I got a pizza for my DH and then 2 to split between my kids and I.

50's cafe- is a sit down restaurant, I think you'll need a PS. They are pricey and the portions are big so if you want to save $$ you could spilt an entree, then get a dessert to split!

AK - Flame Tree and Tusker House

They are both counter service places. Flame Tree is only open seasonally.

MK - Cosmic Rays, Columbia Harbour and Pecos Bills

All counter service. Peco's Bills has a great fixins bar and good burgers. Cosmic rays has a fixins bar as well. never been to Columbia house but I've heard they have seating upstairs that few people know about. Tip- you can get food from Peco's Bills and sit on the wall out front, it's a ledge, near the ground with a fence to lean back on. No one can sit in front or behind you so it's the perfect parade viewing spot!! I'd sitv down about 40 minutes prior to, the waits not long at all if you're eating a meal while you wait.

Epcot- Cantina de San Angelm, Tangerine Cafe and Yakatori

Sorry can't help you here, I've never eaten at any of them. But I do know that Cantina is counter service with tacos, burritos and mexican snacks.

You can split meals at ANY of the restaurants, even the fancier Epcot sit down places with no problem! On our last trip I ate a lot of childrens meals at the counter places because the portions were enough to fill me up, plus they were always cheapre then the adults ones. DH and I would always get the largest drink and split it, it was enough and cheaper then buying 2 small/medium ones.

Have a great trip!!!
