I just booked a gymnastics party for my dd who will be turning 7 next month. 15-20 of her friends (boys and girls) are on the list (1st-3rd graders).

It's mostly free play in a gymnastics center with some organized activities (relays, etc).

Pizza, Capri Suns, and Cake/Ice Cream--I'm keeping it simple!

I need some inexpensive favor ideas---

I found gold medals for about .90 each---so that would be fine.
I was thinking of making ribbon wands from crazy straws/ribbon/beads.

Any other ideas?

There is a site haloheaven that I have used for a party before and you could probably get ribbon wands cheaper than making them. I got tutus and tiaras super cheap!

I did a gymnastics party for my 6 yr old daughter. I gave each kid a hula hoop (which tied into the gymnastics games they did during the party.)

Other ideas-- bean bags, scrunchies, wristbands, orange cones, hackysacks, funny socks, hair glitter or barrettes.
