DS 10 bike was stolen this morning. It was an older Mongoose that DH just fixed up for him last week!! I was just saying we would not have to buy him a bike for Christmas, since he really liked the old one

Funny story on how we got the bike back Noticed it missing y-day morning on my way out for work. Told Dh and DS was upset. He didnt cry, but he was angry. It was the first time anyone had ever taken something from him like that. We live on a quiet cul and he has always felt secure.

He rides his bike to school and is very responsible. It was an old Mongoose that Dh repaired but very well built and he really liked it.

Anywhoooo.......Coming home from work around dusk and see 2 teenage boys riding down the main drag on what looked like DS's bike!! Mind you it's a 20" bicycle and 1 is standing on the back pegs while the other is pedaling!
Get on the cell call DH he is on his way. Im slow-trailing the bike and they know it!

Dh pulls up in the other mini van and before he can roll the window down, the boys hop off the bike and run.

Dont Mess With TEXAS!!!

I told DH we've been watching too much CSI Hopefully they learned a lesson and will be spurned from a life of crime, since they are obviously not good at it!

School is out this week and I guess they needed a ride

DS learned a lesson to always lock his bike up and that his Mother is Crazy! (as I have warned him many times)
