Many of the table service buffets have fresh fruit on the buffet. I, too, get tired of all the sweet stuff and want something light. I know that the Crystal Palace had cantalope, apples, melon and grapes in June, 2006 and June, 2007.
Most TS we have eaten at typically have a fruit option or something light like that for dessert. Also, if you are headed to AK, stop at the fruit stand right outside of the safari. They have delicious fresh fruit and most is a snack credit.
There is a ton of fruit to be had at WDW. CS has many fruit options as does the snack carts throughout the parks. All the buffets for breakfast and lunch offer many fruit choices. We are fruit fanatics so we make it a point to seek it out. FYI, we were at Kona for dinner the other night and the server told DH that he could get a fruit cup for dessert..the same one that they serve for breakfast....but we were way to full.
Cape May breakfast had the best fruit last time we were there. It was toward the end of our trip & boy was I glad to see the fruit. Kona has a great fruit plate for breakfast also.
Narcoossees has a great berry dessert... my favorite for fruit is Fresh at the Dolphin. The frest squeezed juices are fantastic. Although we do love my fatty snacks here and there we're a healthy eaters and just feel bad if not eating our fair share of nutrients. I can't live on beige food.
