Need for Another Table Service Restaurant at AK

I'm in the process of decide on PSs and it continually bothers me that the Rainforest Cafe is the only table service restaurant at AK. I like choices! Now that evening EMHs will be in effect, wouldn't it be nice to have another table service restaurant to accomodate the supper crowd? Do you think this may become a reality any time soon?

I haven't heard anything about adding a new full service restaurant. If you see one added, it probably won't be until after Expedition: Everest opens in 2006. After E:E opens, then AK will probably be open later on a more regular basis.

I totally agree that AK needs more dining choices. We have a RFC close to home, and we don't like it. We aren't interested in going to a chain restaurant in a Disney park.
We like to take a lunch break in a table service restaurant, but we don't do that at AK. We always end up at Tusker House, thank goodness for those vouchers.

Just take a quick ride on the bus to the AKL and eat at Jiko or Boma.

I agree that AKL needs another sit down restaurant. They could do one with some really cool theming.

I know they take ps's, but we decided to do this place last second. We do like this place for it's food and atmosphere. But the waiting and sometimes confusion while waitning for seating gets frustrating. I know they do Donalds Breakfast and then switch it to a burger place for the rest of the day. A buffet after breakfast here would be a nice place to have it. Keep the character thing going. I bet that would open RF cafe's eyes a little!! Just a thought.

This is the first thing I thought of when I saw all the stuff about the extended night hours at AK.

And all the cool restaurants they could do here! How about a restaurant run by Jane, from Tarzan, with a British flair?

Or an Indian restaurant?

My understanding is that Disney signed a contract with Rain Forest that they will be the only full serve resturant at the Animal Kingdom. So I don't think we will be seeing anything soon.
