Need Expert Dining Help

It has been a while and many things have changed, but will character dining options be available in late December? Will buffet style dining ever return to dining options?

We cannot predict what will or will not be open. Best thing to do is just keep checking. Things are slowly opening and by the end of the year most if not all restaurants will be open, imho

As to characters, that one is a real speculation. As more cm are rehired/hired maybe? But true interactions w hugs? I don’t see that returning this year. But waves from afar? Maybe if they can hire the staff

I'm not sure if you're asking if more character dining options will be available or if any will be available. As of right now Chef Mickey's, Garden Grill, Tusker House, Hollywood and Vine, and Topolino's breakfast are all open and operating character meals. CRT is open, but only Cinderella makes an appearance. The interactions are still modified, but unless Meet and Greets return, they remain the closest anyone can get to the characters.

We did Chef Mickey with the current character interaction. It was nice to do once but wouldn't do another until they return to visiting your table. Considering the non-face characters can be wearing masks under their costumes while face characters can't we could see the non-face character meals return before the princess character meals but that is just speculation.

I'm just hoping buffets are back by January.
