Need EPCOT restaurant suggestion

I have all my dinners planned, except for EPCOT. I'd like to eat in one of the countries. It'll be 3 adults. I had dinner in Morocco last year, and wanted to try something else this year. Please send me your absolute favs, and the place to avoid. Thanx!

Our favorite is Chefs de France: Mind-blowingly excellent food, nice atmosphere. Biergarten is good: The food is yummy and the Oom-pah Band is very entertaining. You've already eaten at Marrakesh, so I'll skip that one. Rose and Crown is good food and excellent service.

I avoid Nine Dragons, which just has really bad food. I also avoid Le Cellier. It is very inconsistent. Twice I've gotten dry, grizzly steaks (even after sending the first one back to the kitchen, both times) and the dining rooms is very cramped. I also avoid Alfredos because of all the bad reviews I've read from people who's tastes are similar to mine.

We love Marrakesh but since you've already been there I'll recommend Teppanyaki and Flying Fish. Flying Fish is on the Boardwalk not exactly in Epcot but close. We also like the Biergarten in Germany.

We enjoy Le Cellier - been 3 times and it has been wonderful each time, Rose & Crown pretty restuarant and very friendly servers, Teppanyaki - good food, and Morroco which you have already done.
We avoid Biergarden - the menu just doesn't appeal, and Alfredo's 2ndary to very mixed reviews here.

We ate at the Rose and Crown a week ago, and it was great! The food was wondeful and so was the service.

Here are the places I ate at and I enjoyed all of them except one.

1. Morocco. This was my all time favoriate. Five stars
1. LeCellar in Canada is excellent also. Five Stars
2. The Rose and Crown Pub in England is a lot of fun and great bear. Five Stars
3. Japan is nice. However, I don't like sitting with strangers. Four Stars.
4. We also had Sushi at the sushi bar. Three stars.
5. Mexico. The food was just alright, but the atmosphere is really cool. You watch the ride go by. Three Stars
6. China. Terrible. Expensive and the food is just like you would get at a take-out restaurant. I take that back, the take out restaurants are better. 1 star

7. This one is not a country, but it was in Epcot and it was really good. I believe it is called the Coral Reef. You get to watch the fish swim by as you eat. I went to this one a very long time ago, so I'm not sure if it is still there. However, I would give it four stars.

2.Le Ceiller - ALL of you really like this place, but, what if I'm not in the mood for steak that day, then I'll be stuck right? Let me know what you think . . .

3. Flying Fish @ the Boardwalk - now brace yourselves . . . I have NO IDEA where the Boardwalk is (hiding under desk) So, if its easy to get to EPCOT from there after dinner so I can see Illuminations, that would be great. So someone please clue me in . . .

The Boardwalk is an easy walk from Epcot. You leave the park via the international gateway, which is located between France and the UK in the World Showcase. When you get to the top of the hill, you will see the Yacht and Beach Club on your right, and the Boardwalk on your left. It is only a 5 minute walk or so to Flying Fish, which is an excellent restaurant. I especially like the potato-crusted snapper. It would be easy to have dinner there and then walk back to Epcot for Illuminations. (Note that there are also boats that will take you to the Boardwalk from the International Gateway, but I prefer to walk)

If you want to stay in the park, my two favorite Epcot restaurants are Coral Reef and Chefs de France.

Finally, regarding Le Cellier, there are other things on the menu besides steak. They have a very nice shrimp appetizer, and the beer cheese soup is good. For entrees, in addition to steak they have salmon, and I enjoyed the vegetarian sampler plate when we ate there in November.

DW and I loved San Angel. Food was good, atmosphere was great. Eating chips and salsa, sitting right by the water, and having Mexican band was well worth it.

Have tried Coral reef before - view of the aquarium was good.

Have ADR's this year for San Angel and Le Cellier (first time trying).

I always seem to eat at Japan. I like watching them cook. Itally was not high on my list but I can't remember why.

All the World Showcase places have their admirers and nonadmirers. My best estimate (based on a zillion reviews as well as my own experiences)

LeCellier (Canada) and Teppanyaki (Japan) seem to get the most consistently positive reviews. (We had a great meal at LeCellier last trip.)

Marrakesh (Morocco), Biergarten (Germany), Rose and Crown (UK) also get a lot of positive reviews. These are not pretentious places, just good food. Plus entertainment at Marrakesh and Biergarten.

Chefs de France, Alfredos and San Angel are somewhat more pretentious than previous three, but seem a little more prone to bad experiences. Some people love them and some hate them. Still the balance is positive, and they are all worth a try at some point. If you want their particular cuisine, go ahead!

Nine Dragons is the consensus loser of the group.

Akershus is completely different in all respects. Go here only if you want the princess meal, or you really love seafood and/or Norwegian food. Many people (incl myself) think the food is yummy but the majority of people don't seem to appreciate it.

MY favorite restaurant in Epcot? Garden Grill! Our family has eaten there on every trip, and you can bet we'll go back next time!

Ok, I called and made a reservation for Coral Reef. Here's why: my Mother and Brother will be going, and I THINK they will like what on the menu better at Coral Reef. My other choice was Flying Fish, but, that would use up 2 of our table service credits, and I don't think they will like any of the Asian restaurants.

So at least I've reserved something. Hopefully none of you have any horror stories about Coral Reef (do you?), I've never been there before.

So thanks again for your help. I have noted all of your suggestions, in case I change my mind, or, want to swap out one of the other places I'm going to eat for an EPCOT restaurant. I keep forgetting that since the meal plan is free, and I'll be saving money, I can always pay out of pocket for someplace else if I run out of Table Service meals . . . hmmm . . . .

I forgot to mention that along with Coral Reef, I also made reservations for Boma, Primetime Cafe, and Crystal Palace. These are all for dinner. I'll be there for 6 nights, so I'm trying to eat at 6 different places. I didnt schedule any breakfast meals. I was thinking about having dinner at Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge, but I don't know if we'll feel out of place since there will be no children with us. What do you guys think?

I didn't mention Coral Reef in my earlier message, because I was thinking only about World Showcase restaurants. I would recommend Coral Reef as well, on roughly the same level with Chefs de France, Marrakesh and Biergarten.
