Need ECV for Aulani-who rents in the area?

Going to Aulani in August and will need a ECV. Has anyone found rental companies that deliver to the resort? What can you share about your experience? Or does the resort have any regular wheelchairs for DVC use? I am doing chemo and radiation and it really tires me out-I will be done but want to be prepared if I need help. My husbnad can push me if needed but he has a bad back so I'd rather rent a scooter like I do in WDW and have it delivered to the resort if possible. Thanks for any info.

Hopefully, others will have a better answer, but you may have to consider renting a scooter here and bringing it with you. You don't get charged for the scooter on the airlines; it's considered handicap equipment. I would be a little apprehensive taking a scooter rental on a plane to Aulani.

You may want to call Disney and see if they can help in this matter.

With Aulani being so new, I don't think too many people know what is available there and what isn't. Most of the things on here deal with WDW, DCL, and DL.

Have you tried doing a search for scooter rentals in Hawaii? That may be your best bet.

Thanks for posting the links. We are headed there in May and need a power chair for the week. I will post if we have a good experience with a rental place.
