I have been reading all the posts about National's Emerald Club/Emerald Aisle, but I don't see the answer to this question anywhere...

If you are a DC member and used the DC contract ID to make a res, do you need to present the DC membership card when you check in using Emerald Aisle??

Here is our situation... I am a DC member and have signed up with National for EC. Since my husband can use my DC card, he has also requested a fee-waived application for National's EC. Will he have to present my DC card each time he rents? Will this be a problem since DC is in my name and his EC is in his own name??

Thanks for any info!

You should be prepared to show your Disney Club card, whenever you use the DC contract discount on a National rental. They don't always ask, but it would be very awkward not to have it when they do. Our DC card was actually issued to the "Hunt Household", according to the membership terms it at least covers your spouse and children (if not others):)

It says on the documentation that DC supplies that in order to use the DC contract ID you will have to supply a valid DC card. It says that they need the member number. There may be instances where the employee at National doesn't ask or forgets to ask for the DC, but personally I wouldn't risk it.

Back when I was a member of the United States Power Squadron we got good Hertz discounts. When I got to the Hertz lot (after the bus ride) at Orlando, the counter agent asked for my USPS membership card and made a copy of it.
