I could really use your creative help.
Here is the dilemma.
I bought a pillow for my bench that I absolutely love, the size is perfect. It took me two years to find something I really liked for the price I wanted to spend (found it at home goods).
It is decorated with three embroidered birds on a branch.
One of the birds is an aqua color and just does not go with the colors in the room.
I need to either make it a Red bird, or a blue, bird. The aqua color just throws everything off.
Do think I can use a permanent marker on the thread to change the color of the bird?
Any other ideas, to help me keep this pillow?
UPDATE: I see that I got 43 hits and no reponses.
I got a little impatient and went and tried a go at it. I used a royal blue permenant marker and colored the threads. It turned out beautifully. I'm shocked how well it looks. The threads are now blue. So I got my Blue Bird and everything now matches perfectly.
