For my Aunt's 50th B-Day I decided to make some sort of "Memory box" for her. I've asked family to forward me their favorite memories and funny stories of my aunt. I plan on printing them up on pretty scrap book like paper. Then what?

I was planning on putting them in a vase or box or something. Noting too diffcult. I don't think a book would be a good idea (I've given her scrapbooks before and she doesn't care for them)

Any ideas? I'm headed out to Michael's soon.

any chance you sew?

a friend did a similiar project but she took the handwritten items through her printer which reproduced it onto some kind of craft fabric (said it was something she got at the craft store).

she took all the peices and made a simple quilt so the recipient could 'curl up with some old memories and wrap herself in love and good wishes'.

Oh, that's a terrific idea. I love it. But, no I don't sew. But maybe I could buy some fabric transfer stuff and figure something out.
