My dd 7 is doing theatre camp this summer and they will be performing the Wizard of Oz this weekend. She has two parts but apparently they are providing the dress for one of the parts. But she is also playing a Munchkin so they sent home a yard of rainbow colored fabric yesterday and told us to make some accessories with it. She has to wear the T-shirt they made in camp and a pair of shorts in a contrasting color. I thought about a vest but they would prefer that she not cover up her shirt. I am drawing a blank as to what to do with this fabric!
Any creative people have any ideas?

Sorry- had to get that off my chest because just seeing your post strikes panic and fear for me. All I can think of is to maybe cut rainbows out of the fabric and sew or glue them to her clothes (or safety pin if you aren't allowed to actually permanently attach them), or to maybe cut strips and make ribbons for her hair (or something more complex if you are capable) and maybe somehow twisting and tying some strips together to make a belt.
