mandymouse :earsgirl:

A little treat now and then hopefully will help you keep on track :)

Oh pleeeaaaasseeee....don't mention chocolate.:crazy2: The only way I am managing to not eat it is by having none in the house :teeth: for my DD's lunchboxes I am buying them the chocolate biscuits that I don't like, then I can't pinch any. :rotfl:

I don't think these good intentions will last very long....eldest DD is baking choc chip cookies at school today, I will have to try one otherwise I would be a bad mother!:rotfl:

I can't hear you, I can't hear you, I can't hear you la-la-la-la-laaaaaaa fingers in my ears ;)

Why do we all torture ourselves??? I'm doing the step diet at the moment and it's nearly killing me - but am seeing some progress. Trouble is I've been dieting on and off for 40 years and am heavier than ever - maybe I should never have started!!! ;)

Excuse me and what is worth with the seafood diet ;)

See food and it eat :rotfl:

Reid I like your diet best ;)

Diana, what is the step diet? Is that walking lots or are you eating / not eating certain food as well?

Basically you have to take 10,000 steps a day which for me is about 4 miles but it includes all the steps you would normally take. You're supposed to use a pedometer to find out how many steps you take in a normal day and then gradually increase that to 10,000 a day. It sounds a lot but if, like me, you take about 100 steps a minute (I'm a slow walker!!!) it's not as bad as it sounds especially if you're already quite active (which I wasn't at all!!!) I've been doing it in big bursts of about 90 minutes but I know I'll never keep that up so I'm investing in a treadmill so I can hop on for 10 minutes every now and then - especially if it's cold and/or raining and I don't want to go out - I can even watch TV at the same time!!! :) You're supposed to make normal meals but only eat 75% of it!!! I'm just trying to eat sensibly!! I've tried for many years to lose weight but always put it all back on and in recent years it's been harder and harder to shift but I am seeing some loss at the moment - but it's very early days as you can see from my "Walking to Disney" countdown below - !! ;) It's sunny days in California that are my motivation at the moment!!! Me in a swimsuit is not a pretty sight :scared1: - but American women are definitely good to stand next to!!! (No offence to any American women out there - I know you're not all huge!!!) :sunny:

I feel tired just reading that post, Di ;)

:cool1:  (that's me stepping "virtually" ;) )
