Need: Cheap make in advance and freeze recipes

I really need some cheap, easy, and kid-friendly recipes for food that can be made in advance and frozen. My mommy group members make meals for moms when they have a baby or for medical issues. I need ideas for what to make that can be frozen in advance and won't cost very much. They all have small children, so it can't be too exotic.

Does anyone have any recipes they like?

I just use regular recipes, no special 'freezer' ones. Just nothing with a high water content.

One meal I remember I loved getting was stir fry. Veggies and meat were cut and cooked, sauce was in another baggie and there was even a baggie with cooked rice (microwaves nicely). Defrost, heat, eat. After a week of delivered meals where almost all were pasta or cheesey casseroles it was a nice change. Plus the baggies were so much easier to fit into the freezer!

Baked ziti freezes well, is kid friendly, and can be inexpensive if you can get the mozzarella and ricotta on sale.

Almost any type of homemade soup, chili, and/or stew will freeze well.

My friend and I made 29 meals for each household a few weekends ago. Here's the list that we made:

Meatloaf x6
Turkey divan x4
Ham and chicken lasagna x4
Baked ham and cheese ziti x3
Swiss chicken x2
Alpine meatballs x3
Chicken enchiladas x3
Turkey and stuffing x2

And there must be one more that I can't think of right now. Anyway, none are terribly expensive, all are pretty boring and kid-friendly and all are wonderful for pulling out and having ready without too much forethought. As long as I can remember to get them out to defrost the day before we want to eat them, I am good to go
