Need cheap hotel/motel for 1 night before we start our WDW Vacation

It's $185 for a preferred pool room. Is that what OP has? A regular room is $164, which is still pricey, but I stand by what I said about not wanting to move rooms after being there only 12 hrs, especially with young kids.

Sometimes its the anticipation.

Meh. It's not a big deal to save the price of their breakfast.

The $185 is a standard room with tax.

Even if they booked the added night at POP, it's a possibility they would have to change rooms anyway. We've done this twice - once was to get free dining, had to split off our first day and recheck in; the other we got cheap earlier flights. Stayed in the same room first and moved across to the other side of the resort on the other.

Called Disney to see if add on better than finding other hotel for 1 night and...If I added it to my package (one night) it would be $380-thats with pop, preferred room, park hopper, & BDP. But if I just added a night without park ticket or dining it would be $201.37. I was like WOW-for really-no way!

So since our WDW vacation starts on a Sunday, we decided that we would just drive down just a little bit earlier than expected on Saturday and arrive in the evening and stay at a cheaper motel/hotel for one night.

I have found some rates that start around $45 up to $100. I did like the Seragalo hotel. It looked nice and affordable. We are just looking for something clean, nice place to get some sleep, and a free cont. bfast. We will just pack a small bag (for our overnight stay) with a change of clothes and some bathroom amenities to get a shower before we head out to Pop around 7am to check-in, even if room is not ready. Last, suprise my two girls with a bfast at Cinderella's Royal Table to start our WDW vaction out with a boom!!!;)

Where/who did you book with? The hotel, travelocity, expedia, hotels.com, orbitz?
Thanks!
It looks like a nice place to stay.\:)

We booked through their website. I recommend liking them on FB because they always have specials that they promote there. I love them and they are now my first choice for off-property stays!

ETA: They do not have a free breakfast, but they do have fridges and microwaves so it is easy to fix a simple breakfast in the room. :)

but I think Seragalo is my pick. And thanks for the tip about liking Seragalo on FB, I would have never thought about that!
And I will book online with them.
How far in advance would I need to make the reservation? Would they take a reservation for 1 night?
Thanks!;)

We usually stay at one of the hotels on Palm Parkway. I usually just check Expedia to see who has the best deal, but book through the hotel directly.
