Need best way to get from ASMu to Poly

Newbie here...going to WDW in May!

Want to try that Tonga toast everyone raves about.

Staying at the ASMu.

Other than a car or cab, what's the best way to get to the Poly?

Well, I'm not the ultimate transportation expert, but we'd probably take a bus to the Magic Kingdom, then get on the monorail to the Contemporary. Anyone have a different plan?

That's it exactly. (except you'd take the monorail to the Poly, instead.)

or bus to Epcot it's closer) and then monorail to POR

I could be wrong, but I think Blanche Niege meant bus to Epcot and monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center, then you can take a short walk to the Poly, or if you don't feel like walking, switch to the resorts monorail that will drop you off near your dining spot.
