In reguards to Annual Passes. Can someone buy one for you while they are in Florida.

I know it a voucher but does it have a name or anything.

Some one is picking one up for me. I am just wondering if I wil have to show anything when I redeem the voucher.

Yes they will ask for your FLORIDA ID (license) when you redeem it!

If they are just picking up the voucher then no.You will need your DL when you activate it.

They dont live in FL do they?If they do then you would have to be a FL resident also.

No these are people who are going to florida this month. I wanted to get the annual so I can get discounted rooms.

I will be going in May and Deceember. My question, (nobody is a FL resident) I will have the voucher bought and paid for.

Do I just go and hand it in at guest relations or do I have to prove I bought it.

I know its confusing. But I am sending a check to a person to do this and I just want it be right.

You do not have to have the AP to book a room - you just have to have it at check-in - so you could stop and buy it before you check in.

Also - you can buy one at the Disney store or online.

Thanks everyone. This person is getting me one from Shades of Greenwhich will be a Milatary One.

This is what bothers me. It is cheaper. They are Milatary People but I am not.

shirley 38,

Have you thought about ordering one directly through Disney? You can purchase an AP at www.disneyworld.com
It usually arrives within a couple weeks.

To activate your AP you will need to go to Downtown Disney or one of the other parks. You will need to have your drivers licence or other goverment issued photo id to activate it.

You don't actually need the pass to reserve your room. Your voucher should be good enough for the resort providing they even ask for proof. If they do you may need to stop back at the desk after you activate your card.

Hope this helps!

But does it matter that it will be a Military Annual Passholder and not a regular one.

I am not in the Milatary. I really appreciate what these people are doing for me saving me some money but are they going to ask me for Military ID

Boy you guys are fast.

You could call the Shades of Green office and ask them. If you redeem the voucher at SoG, I'm willing to bet you'd need a military ID. Maybe you'd be better off just buying the regular AP so it's not weighing on your mind.

Used to be (and this was years ago but I'm sure it's the same)--you had to show your military ID or dependent ID to get a military discount AP or tickets.

If I were you, I'd just pay the regular price. Then you'll know you won't have any problems.
