I will be attending a seminar in July and will be only able to go to Disney after 3:00 on one of the days. I am just going to go to Magic Kingdom. I have a couple of questions (I haven't been in 5 years and have never been later than 5:00).

What is the best way to maneuver the park to make sure I get to see everything?

What are the best places to dine?

Any other tips or advice?:cool1:

My best advice is not to spend your time eating a table-service dinner. You could waste nearly two hours of your time, and I think it think that with only 1/2 day in the parks, you'd be better off with a counter-service meal.

Others can advise you more about how to see the most with your time that time of year (I usually go in October, where the strategy is much different because there are fewer lines).

Good luck!

Hi,

July is very busy at the parks. If you arrive after 3 at the MK Fastpasses will likely be gone for most or all of the FP attractions, and the standby lines for just about everything will be at least 45 minutes long.

If you are staying on site and you are going on an EMH night, you will be able to get a lot more accomplished. If not, I'm afraid you shouldn't count on getting to see everything.

I would advise getting a salad or a burger at Pecos Bill's for dinner (counter service). The salads there are excellent. They have a "fixings bar" for the burgers, that include sauteed mushrooms and onions, in addition to the usual lettuce, ketchup, etc. A good time to do this would be just before the Spectromagic parade (usually around 8 pm).

Other than that, go to your favorite places.
