Need Advise - Late Dec. or Early Jan. trip???

Taking both weather and crowds into account...would we be better off planning our trip for the last week of Dec., or the first week of January??? My kids swim like fish, so the weather will be key...I'm leaning toward Jan. as I can get a better room rate, however any expert advise out there would be welcome!

From all I've heard the last week of December is the busiest of the year! I think the weather at that time of year can go either way but all the pools are heated.

I would choose after New Year's for the smaller crowds.

We *love* going in January! The crowds are fewer (we did Buzz Lightyear's Spin Adventure 3 times in under 35 minutes last trip!!) Rates are great. It isn't too hot nor rainy. And, as Cruella just mentioned, heated pools. So who cares what the weather is
