My DH, and DS19 will be visiting Universal next Tues and Thurs. We've been to the parks a few times but have always stayed on site. That express pass is fantastic! This time we are staying off site and I'm looking for guidance on somewhat of an order we should go in. I'm planning on saving WWHP until later in the day b/c I have a feeling FJ will make me naseaus. We want to hit all the big coasters, Jurrasic, Shrek, Jaws, MIB, Simpsons (for DH and DS I already learned my lesson) and hopefully we'll have time to do things like ET and Twister.

Do you think it would work best to start off in US and then head over to IOA later in the day? I'd hate to buy the FOTL pass if it's not going to be overly crowded. I've just gotten spoiled over the years with staying on site. I'm sure with 2 days and the park-to-park tickets we'll be able to get it all done right????

I would think you'd be able to do it all without the Express Pass, especially since you're going in early November on a Tuesday and Thursday. Don't forget the "sold" XP is different from the "on-site" XP in that you get only one XP entry per attraction, and it's good only for that particular day. Worst case, if the lines are longer than anticipated, then you can go buy one....

BTW, this past Friday DW wanted to do FJ early in the day for this reason: still an empty stomach. Let's just say Pumpkin Juice was a crucial factor in her last FJ experience. :rolleyes1

Actually they also sell an unlimited express ticket, although there is definitely a difference in price between one time per attraction Express and Unlimited Express.

I'm hoping the parks are slow enough that we won't need to buy the Express Pass and I do plan on getting there early. Plus some of the things I don't like to do b/c of the motion sickness like Simpsons and Spiderman and DH doesn't like Dueling Dragons. I'm pretty sure I'll be pretty green in the face from FJ but I have to try it once! The simulator thigs get to me but the coasters don't, go figure!
