We are arriving at MCO for a 3-day stay at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress next week. We are arriving on a Tuesday, going to Magic Kingdom on Wednesday, and Universal on Thursday. Disney sent our tickets to us but I have to pick up my tickets at Will Call for Universal( I used a travel agent), I did not realize this would happen until the transaction was done. On a previous trip (like maybe 5 years ago?) we waited over an hour to get tickets at the entrance to Universal. Can someone help with a plan to avoid this? Right now, I think I need to Uber/Lyft/cab separately from my family at the airport to get the tickets at a Universal Hotel(which one would be the easiest for my route?) and then Uber/Lyft/cab to the Hyatt. I should add there are 8 people in my party and I am assuming they do not have to be with me to get the tickets that I purchased, but maybe that is not the case?

If anyone has any suggestions/advice I would appreciate it. Thanks!

You need the credit card used to buy the tickets and a photo ID to match (though I’m not sure I ever needed the ID)

You have a few options to pick up your tickets. In order of what we’ve typically seen as the fastest.

1. Self-service kiosks in the hotel lobbies
2. Self-service kiosks in the front of the parks
3. Ticket desk in the hotel lobbies
4. Guest Services window in City Walk

Distant 5. Ticket booths at the front of the park

Just like park attractions, time of day can really impact any of those waits. Early morning will likely see the longest lines at the park ticket booths. Mid day might see longer lines at the hotels as people are checking in.

Oh and get dropped off at the Hard Rock, it’s the closest to the Studios and rarely see a line at short walking path, or take a short boat ride that will get you a bit closer to Islands. Should not have any trouble getting dropped off and picked up there.

Thanks so much for the replies, the information helps a lot. I think I might just pick the tickets up the morning of at the Hard Rock, we are picking up our car rental that day so it might just be easiest.
