Need Advice - which race?

I'm trying to make up my mind on which WDW race to do in 2007 - the 1/2 or the full. Did Goofy and, like MelR, want more time to play!

Thought I had some friends talked into doing the 1/2, but so far they haven't totally committed. if they do, I'll probably do the half with them. If they don't, I'd like to do the full, so I can get an "official" time.

Would it be wrong to register for both (Goofy) and then only do the one race? I don't want to deprive anyone of going Goofy, but I don't want to get shut out of a race either. Wish my friends would make up their minds .

Terri - I've read your post twice and don't have an answer for you. I thought about the half, but it just didn't seem like it would be as fun as the full. Then again, if you have a friend doing the half, that could make a world of difference. Things did not fill up until August it seems. Just keep tabs on teh updates so tha tyou know when to quick sign up. You may lose your $5 savings, as I'd sign up on line at that point, but it's much less than registering for a run you don't do.

Plus, if you signed up for th Goofy, wouldn't you want to do the Goofy?

Hi Carrie - I did the Goofy this year, so I wasn't planning on doing it in 2007. I just don't want to wait too long and then get shut out of both races. I'll try to keep tabs on what the registration level is up to. I think I remember last year getting e-mails from Disney saying the race was 50% or 75% full.

Yes Terri, thos e-mails were out there. I don't think they started until spring, so you should have plenty of time to decide. You know it will go on the boards as soon as anyone gets word.
