I'm wondering which are the favorite hotels for DL? Best Western PP doesn't have any availability for my dates, so I'm considering Park Vue Inn or Desert Inn. We're going for convenience not luxury this trip, so which is the best of the Inn's? I would love to hear comments on Camelot, Carousel, etc, also!

Thanks!!! :goodvibes

I have no personal knowledge about lodging there as I am in planning stages too. I was told on MousePlanets boards that Candy Cane Inn is another favorite and is very close to the maingate. It has a nice continental breakfast that may interest you and your family. Just thought I'd share what I was told...:goodvibes

Just got back yesterday and we stayed at the Desert Inn and Suites. As far as I'm concerned there is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff was polite, wireless in the lobby if you need it. The breakfast was ok just toast, danish, cereal and oranges but there is a Denny's next door or a McDonalds up the street if you need more. The entrance to the park is 5-10 minutes depending on how fast you walk. We didn't get back to the room until after 9 every night and were gone before 9 every morning so all we did was sleep and shower and it definitely works fine for that.

We always stay at Park Vue Inn. Their breakfast seems to be a little better than Desert Inn & Suites...waffles, cereal, toast, muffins, danish and fruit. I've been staying there for the past 7 years and love it for the convenience...only a few steps to the cross walk! You'll be very happy with park Vue Inn!
