I am invisioning my boys having a great time but when I told them we were going during spring break to disney they were "OK" in that mom I think we are too old for that kind of tone. :crazy: They know they are going to enjoy the thrill rides but I am looking for some other adventures. We have never been to Downtown Disney. Thanks for sharing. :wave:

Hi there!
My DS almost 14 and DS 12 love Disney Quest and they don't mind shopping (and eating) at DTD. Last trip they enjoyed piloting their own boat on the lake at the Caribbean Beach and this year I saved up for water skiing lessons from Sammy Duvalls for them.
We are planning 2 or 3 days at the water parks and my sons have a blast there. They can go off and enjoy themselves and I can relax.
Whatever you do, have fun!

my best friend is a video game addict....we are planning to spend 3 hours there- from 9-12 midnight....

It depends on how much your boys like video games. DQ is basically a indoor theme park..

I personally can't wait to check it out

Another fun thing is
[font=Georgia, Arial]Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Courses -

Fantasia Gardens is located across from MGM-Studios and has two 18-hole courses. They are within walking distance of the BoardWalk, Yacht & Beach Club, and the Swan and Dolphin resorts.

One course is based on the classic animated film "Fantasia", complete with music and obstacles from the film's most famous scenes. Fantasia Fairways is a grass course for the more experienced golfers, complete with par-three and par-four holes ranging from 40 to 75 feet long. Par is 61 and covers 1,445 feet.

Time of travel (spring break) they will be 15 and 13 1/2. I am overprotective at times but I really want them to have fun doing some things on their own. The mini golf sounds great and they are video gammers.

When we were there the parks closed early so everynight we headed over to DisneyQuest or PI. I think my son could have gone to DisneyQuest everynight. The shows at PI were really fun too and I think the comedy club was there favorite! Mouse boats are always fun and maybe a trip over to beaches & cream. (do they still have that giant ice cream bowl?) Rent the bikes built for six and ride around the boardwalk area. Don't forget to ask to ride in the front of the Monorail- always great! Maybe an Illiuinations cruise. There are so many ways that your teens can appricate Disney. Enjoy, and most of all on my last trip I learned that they are much more happier if I let them sleep in one or two days. :Pinkbounc Have a magical vacation!

Just wanted to add We always eat around the world in Epcot. We sample a foood from each country. (Must of the time it's something yummy. (dessert) but that's ok we are on vacation!

Do your kids go it alone in the parks? If so, have any trouble with cell phone connections?

No for some strange reason they never asked to go on their own so i never mentioned it either. :teeth:
