Despite several trips to WDW, my family has never been to Pleasure Island. We were thinking of maybe trying it this time, along with Disney Quest, since we have several plusses on our tickets. So am wondering if either the Adventurers Club or Comedy Warehouse would be okay for kids (ages 9 - 17)? If they are both okay, but we only have time to go to one, which one is better?

I have not been to Pleasure Island in a long time (my kids are 4 and 2, so kindof young still) but when I was younger, I did go with my parents. I had been to the Comedy Warehouse when I was probably around 13? I would suggest going to an earlier show, because those are usually the 'cleaner' ones. And, maybe just try to sit near the exit, in case you feel its not appropriate, but I would think it would be fine. I'm never been to Adventurers Club to compare, but the Comedy Warehouse was fun.

I wouldn't take a kid to the Adventurer's Club unless it was just to wander around and look. I took my 17yo DD in Dec and wanted to crawl under the table several times as the evening wore on. It was just more sex than I'd like to expose a minor child to. There were more than enough hoochies on hand and almost as many smarmy men to make it uncomfortable.

My own two cents is that minors should not be permitted. However, they are, so you do what you want. Pleasure Island is a nightclub complex, and while the Disney acts are rather tame (particularly early in the evening) the majority of people consider themselves to be in an adult venue - so what the kids are exposed to may not be what you want.

My kids will learn all about jello shots in good time - personally, I hope I'm not the one explaining them to my kids, or at least I want to control those conversations.

Basically, do you want to take your kids into a bar?

(I do wish Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance at the Boardwalk were made family friendly - while PI was tightened up for adults).
