Need advice on Video Cam/Digi Cam

I am totally clueless about this so...I need help. I have been thinking about getting a video camera that also takes still pictures. I want something small and not too expensive. But good quality. Not asking too much Right? I do have a Olympus Digital Camera that I can use and I really enjoy. What are some options for me? TIA

I believe that the phrase "jack of all trades, master of none" applies here. Digital camcorders take pictures worse than nearly all digital cameras, and digital cameras that do movies take movies worse than nearly all digital camcorders.

If you are interested in quality still pictures, you're probably going to need to keep carrying a separate camera in addition to a camcorder.
